Postcards of nostalgic snapshots at places I've visited, and the variety of fish I had while I was there.
The halftone colors and photo edits are glowing, reminiscent iterations of serene locations, reflective of a fuzzy approach to the memories I have left of the trip. Not many of the fish, locations, scenery I can remember exactly, but the collective experience of the visit will remain archived through these postcards.
The illustrations of the fish are done through ASCII art processors to convey the fleeting, ephemeral nature of human memory. The combination of vastly differring symbols and punctuation that forms a vague image is a playful interpretaion of the project.
